well, if you know you're going to hit a wall, try to hit it as parallel as possible. You lose a lot less speed that way, as you just kinda graze the wall or bounce off as opposed to losing a ton of momentum from hitting it with the back of the car

If you're doing it from the track itself, it only works on the Japanese version for whatever reason. Otherwise you have to go inside the track (by hitting the water and bouncing over it with a shroom) and do it that way

From what I know (I haven't fully tested this in TAS but this is from my experience), you have to be rotated by Lakitu the whole time for it to work. No idea why, but if Lakitu spins you the entire time as he puts you down, you'll be able to, and if he straightens out, you wont.

its a kind of miniturbo that can only be done by zigzagging back and forth with a worn down/modified dpad. normally such a thing would be banned, BUT since it happens naturally its fine. dont worry about it until you have like... 1:04 all cups? you need a solid understanding of the game, its physics, and gimmicks first, which comes with time

I dont see it being a problem. You dont even need video since its so awful trying to live record this game on original hardware. Don't worry about it too much

Yeah, the only difference is full-game, the two consoles have minor differences but its not like one track is a second faster than another.... well, not yet anyway lol

Survival Races is kinda pointless to do, since its basically RNG whether the barrels slow you down. Surprised all races doesnt exist, honestly. That category should exist.
