It's a silly 20-year old flash game so not a big deal which version you use.
It must be a separate category due to the Switch having better performance.
They will add it when someone submits a run on the Switch.

Since you posted this someone did beat it with boosts, so I guess there's a new way to do it. It starts with 30 gold without showing how that was obtained but it's safe to assume it was from clicking the social media links like always.
@Pottsie91 Not going to just randomly delete a category tons of people submitted runs to, unless all those players wanted it deleted.

I've been able to keep up with runs since not many people submit runs. Only three runs have been submitted in the last 2 months as of this writing. No need to add new mods right now.
I'm just not going to retime everything. If people don't read the timing rules and start their timer early that's on them. This is a meme game after all. Not that serious.
The category was originally named 8 player when SS created it. Then this "I'm not a power moderator" guy took over and changed everything without asking any players first.

That is very helpful information. I didn't realize the qualifying lap always ends with 10000 points. I think that would be a good idea to separate runs based on this. Thanks for pointing that out!
Nobody has submitted any runs for full races. If people submit runs, I will add the category.
@AndrewG I noticed what you're saying when I was given this leaderboard. I tried contacting Daniel Yamnitz to see if he could teach me about the differences between versions, but I never got a response. It seems like the Plug-N-Play version specifically is way faster than the original cabinet. Nobody has ever brought it up before, I don't think.
This leaderboard isn't meant to be serious as far as I know. The serious arcade players submit their times to Twin Galaxies I'm pretty sure. If more people start asking to split the leaderboard, we can do that.
As for full game runs, nobody has ever submitted one so that's why there isn't one. There's no need to add another moderator right now. Not many people submit runs these days, so I am able to keep up.
