I see the rules say - new save file but I’m wondering is that just for picking a car to run legend or street or can the story mode be completed? I just want to have more songs when I do runs haha

Surrounding the timing changes in sound effects: We the mods took a community vote and it was decided 4-3 that it would be allowed to have sound effects turn off in game. However we do recommend keeping the background music on to help the moderation team verify runs in a timely fashion
Best advice i can give is mapping guard to L1 so when you finish your combo you would push L1 and the directional button up. Trying to jump to X and a directional button is trash to me hahaha. Another tip would be holding the last button of your combo while you're trying to sidestep. Hope that helps my dude
