For the reference, the video in this run was different before, it was approved and later rejected, hence the contents of my comment above. I offered to record myself the video for another existing replay, so the run was updated.
I honestly don't think the hitbox from the previous run affects the gameplay too much, it's not Black Hole at least :) But it's different so it was ok to reject too

Just to clarify, are
- addon karts (rules: "List of Allowed Karts: same as the Vanilla Game (No Addons)")
- video recording glitches like at 0:24
- submitting videos in 480p (which youtube clearly makes less watchable than the actual 480p) without submitting a ghost
really allowed here? I'm not having doubts about the run itself, nor about the kart hitbox legitimacy, but I can see very much how this kind of submissions could be faked
Hello, As I managed to record ghost replays online, I guess those ghost replays are not accepted by default (please correct me if it isn't true). My question is, how to distinguish now whether a ghost replay is a valid offline ghost replay/ghost replay recorded by a server/server with changed code/a ghost produced by some broken offline code? I've read that ghost replays will be probably rejected since 2.0, but I assume that's not soon.
(Not that the problem of distinguishing valid and invalid ghosts never existed before, but now (almost) the same code can produce online ghosts which are probably invalid)
PS. Yeah I didn't intend to upload them anyway because I prefer "broken" and "boring" addons more :D But someone could try it anyway...
If I am qualified enough to speak about this, IMO having a ranking/leaderboard and at the same time trusting players to not do something bad can lead to leaderboard abuse (if there is a sufficient number of players, of course). I'll just mention here STK Ranked and proven facts of what nascartux and romanian vpn users have done, and it will be enough to show that.
