This all sounds good to me. I'll verify the new runs today hopefully and set up the No Void Rolling category. I'll be moving Stacky's 41:47 over to the void rolling category. [Edit: Or does that really count as proper void rolling? Considering it doesn't really lead into a new load zone if I remember right. Thoughts?] Great find with this new trick! I can't wait to try it out myself.
It would definitely level the playing field. However, like Stacky said, the runs are minutes apart, not seconds, and the loading times, though varying, largely seem to stay somewhat consistent. Right now, it would be more work than it's worth to track loading times. I'm not totally against it, but it doesn't seem necessary yet.
Most of the tricks in the wr video are fairly straightforward. I haven't put together a proper guide yet, so following with the video is the easiest option right now for seeing the tricks.
A lot of the tricks involve jumping on top of enemies (mostly the tall, dark green goblin dudes) and then over something else. Some skips involve different enemies that are all more finicky to get on top of.
Combat is mostly doing the first two attacks of the heavy combo and countering enemy attacks.
I'd recommend playing with a controller and going through the game by yourself at least once. It shouldn't take more than 4-5 hours.
If you have any other questions, I'd be more than happy to help you out.
