I'm really not sure what you're talking about, friend. If you feel like a run is cheated, you better show us. Some of these sicko IL runners would immediately spot if somebody's car performance was altered in any way.

There is no way to trigger cooldown during the final pursuit.

In the PS2 Alpha leak, you could do it, but towards the end of the cooldown, the cooldown progress would jump back, never letting you truly escape.

Were you not able to install it otherwise? Because if so, then that sounds like the data is corrupted. At least that's what the usual culprit was for me with programs/games with that error code.
