katinjegat: Have you tried all of the compatibility mode options? What operating system are you on? I'm on windows 10 and all compatibility mode options except 98/ME skip chapter 3.
What I think Cr1tikal actually does wrong in this run is that he starts the timer upon spawning. I think it should be started when pressing play and entering the first loading screen because you have control over the position your character spawns in. During the other loading screens you can also initiate a movement (jumping, reloading, whatever).

Nah man, low% would really just be a silly version of any%. At least currently. The expansion is still new tho. I just did a coinless run, while I did fucking shit (mostly because I've only discovered and practiced the strats today) it should be pretty feasible.
How does that obsolete them? The drop down menu is there to separate runs for the characters?
Thats neat, I did that challenge by jumping on the first ladder and then dropping to the next one, evading the fire balls by going in the middle, but thats just faster and safer lol.

I think the more interesting challenges are going to be the gold collecting ones, I haven't tried to do those speedily yet
