Best example I have in mind was the old Yoshi's Island theme. I also thought of ideas of how to potentially implement that into some themes of games I moderate. @Mysticore It's true that the WW into Gilligex doesn't seem to work on the US NTSC version. But for whatever reason, on the JP NTSC version it does work! At least on emulator when I tried and it was consistent. Just something interesting to note.
@smallvans I think the best Cheat% route on N64 would be to enter the password "M758FQRW3J58FQRW4!" in the "Load Game" menu to start with 99 lives and all of the remotes. Timing starts upon pressing A to Accept the password.
Hmm. I actually like the idea of having a universal goto site for both speedruns and highscores in one site. The problem would obviously be the name.
So 2 different sites which are very closely linked with each other, like having a direct link to the score site of every game on speedrun.com and the other way around, plus sharing same accounts on both sites would maybe be the best solution.
But please try to have full ownership, like you said above.
@BillyClem98 Indeed it is. But I honestly really want this to get implemented and I will post here next year again if it still isn't then ;) PS: Had to google what necroing means.
Any update on this now? Would still love this to get implemented for every game as an option.
The question is, how easy is it to just play without a patch? If that's easy then there's no reason to create a separate subcategory for versions since everyone could just play on the old version without any problem.
