The two most important things to pull it off are:

1. A fast throw. This is throwing something right after crouching. So you can aim where you wanna throw, crouch, and immediately after throw the violin and uncrouch to keep running.

2. Throw the violin at a bit of an angle from the ladder, so don't face the ladder from the front, more so diagonally.
