Can this be demonstrated that it has an advantage in a competitive setting?
Can I play on Retroarch and use runahead frames to help reduce the input delay?
Thank you for the site and your work benefiting the entirely of the speedrun community. You played an integral part in hundreds of thousands of people's lives and won't be forgotten.
it means you can use 1.51 and any version 1.53 to 1.56. other versions dont lag enough like a real console so in places they're faster
Because this is not a Meaningful restrictions / criteria as said in point 2, This will not be added to the leaderboards. There is nothing particularly special about 1-6 yoshi or really any other colored yoshi in the game at any specific level.
what is the significance of brown yoshi being the one picked to obtain?
Thank you for taking this into consideration and making appropriate changes. One more I just thought of is the start.
What do you think about timing starting as you land? You gain control then so I'm thinking that the run should start then too. My run would be adhering to this and not yours, but let's leave yours for simplicity's sake.
Okay. Allow me to make one last point of the timing.
With current timing I could in theory ride the last moving platform, stop moving entirely after that and never finish the game.
Is this what you want?
2 skips. Faster triangles in the lava planet and a little bubble skip. New category doesn't seem necessary for things like that
In an earlier run I bumped my mouse and messed up and I ran the wrong direction for a bit. That certainly delayed the ending.
So are you saying you want me to submit it as a 19:46?
Otherwise you're saying my run is a 19:46 is what I am to understand?
In your run between 26:16 and 26:48 that's still user controllable gameplay. That's what I'm saying. If you were to just stop moving you'd be spending time before the ending. How is this not included in the run time?
You can just stop running during the long platform before getting to the end though that's why the last one should be the final time. That would delay the ending
Hey! I am looking at your Matter speedrun. I want to do it myself. Since it is an early age in speedruns I want to bring up the timing. I am ok with how you start it at first movement. I hold a direction as I land so I move upon impact. You wait and then proceed so timing between us there isn't affected because we both start when we move.
The ending is what I am looking to have changed. You retimed it to an earlier place because you said the game doesnt really get any slower but this is false. You can choose to simply stop running down the long platform at the end.
My proposal is to make the end split on the very last platform to where you originally timed it as a late 26 minute. this makes sense because it is truely when the game has stopped being able to progress or slow down. What do you think?
Somehow a run was done before the game was ever released. This is a mistake?
Can i replay the same level and submit that as a run or must it be a new game everytime?
you would want to play the NTSC version. it's either english or japanese.
theres no pal just select USA or whatevers there
oh gba has no regions. i totally didnt pay attention to which game this even was sorry
If possible, are emulator 3DS MSF2 runs allowed to be submitted? If yes I'd like to know a few things:
Which emulator, settings, game version (if applicable), etc
Or whatever other rules and limitations must be applied. Wouldn't want to accidentally break some kind of rule. Thank you.
