I was originally aiming for 5min30 but had to rush the last levels to finish before the competition so only half size production. there is a desync right at the beginning, but the rest of the run is clean and the time loss was only about a second

obviously this isn't random seed so its not valid as a run entry

This is a WIP of a 1.1.18 TAS run I was in the process of making. I had intended to finish it before the update came out on the 9th. That is likely not happening. because while I'm sure it would be possible, the resulting burnout would probably make me never play the game again.

right now the tools to tas this game don't really exist, and as such for every second of building that tas does i spent over half an hour planning, recording, and debugging the tas.

the WIP finishes lv8 in 5:20, gets painintg T1 in 5:30, and would get cutting/stacking T2 around 6:10. blueprint% should be possible in less than 8 minutes.

it does some other interesting things, such as getting upgrades much earlier than the human runs (when it finishes lv 6, its actually 40sec behind the WR, but is over 6 mins ahead in terms of upgrades)

Was wondering if there was ever plans to do a fixed seed variant? so people could play on runs they could rehearse, rather than having to ad-lib it each time. as there is no current way of selecting a fixed seed, it would involve loading a save of a just generated world, and timing would probs have to be from first building placed, rather than from load

I'm wondering what level of bugs/glitches are allowed in runs. especially ones that are confirmed to be bugs. (such as tunnel merges [tunnels with 2 inputs 1 output])
