could I use a Imgur or other file hosting service instead of YouTube or twitch? (which i would rather not share on)

I am starting to speedrun Minecraft Java 1.16.4 (optifine). but I cant find any official rules to what is allowed, and what is not. like with optifine, there are more settings that can change the video. such as remove fog in the nether. are things like that allowed?

also! any tips for getting started with speedrunning would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
