Maybe the key sprite got overwritten by another sprite?
This would be a huge time save if we could trigger this on every door. Currently I have no idea what triggered it. Perhaps a sprite overload? Any ideas?
I found the level counter. The address is FF25.
no glitches basic Normal 33 (Arcade) TAS run. Lots of room for improvement but a decent baseline.
Magic Sword has always been known as a difficult game, so I believe the 1CC is meant to reflect that.
That being saidm 1CC really isn't that bad, especially if you know where the health items are.
Keep in mind that 1CC arcade begins with 3 health bars. MAME emulator starts you at 1 health bar so you'll want to increase this to 3 if you are playing on MAME. Reason being, the arcade version on Xbox starts with 3 health bars, and they have no way of changing it.
It feels great just finishing a 1CC run. I think you'll grow to love it.
Ellimist, are you asking about Arcade in general or for Co-op specifically?
Looking to make an autosplitter for Arcade. Any ideas on what trigger to look for in the code? I tried to find a level counter but didn't have any luck. Has anyone had a look before?

When I start an Arcade Beginning run, I have 1 Vitality, yet when I'm watching the world records, they start with 3 Vitality. Do I need to change a setting or something?
