I agree with Apok here, I don't think it's worth adding another category that will just die off, snake% seems more versatile as its something you can decide to run as soon as you get to bucket on a normal run. I don't think the effort of turning on space gravity is worth doing Space% runs enough to add a whole new category. For now, just post your space% runs on discord and we can keep track of leaderboards/WR there.
