Literally win any type of stock battle as fast as possible. Pretty much anything is allowed. There'd be item/gimmicky stage and no item/gimmicky stage leaderboards.
My computer literally can't handle a recording that long. Not yet.

It would basically a speedrun where you get guides sword, then switch to a remote with low batteries. I think LowHearts% would make more sense to add.

I have an idea for people who know a game really well (such as loz tp). You watch someone dancing to a random song from the game and guess which song it is and/or where/when it plays. A simple idea I had while listening to the song that plays when you first visit hidden village. No idea if people already do this.
How about terminal velocity%? Get the portal gun and reach terminal velocity.. actually, that has all the steps for moon lord%. Dang.
So. I've done a couple of runs. The first one was captured in multiple recordings because of my small c drive. The second one was not finished. Apparently the seed I was using has a bad crimson. And, as it turns out, I don't need to destroy the alter to spawn the hallow, do I? I thought I did. I'm going to clean my c drive to help with lag (which is really high when I'm recording), see if I can find a better way of recording (cos the way I've been doing it shoves the recording in the top left corner, which I don't know how to fix), and do another run.
This could alternatively become get stabbed% where you get stabbed by the companion cube as fast as possible.

Get the companion cube, at least one anti- portal block and the portal gun as fast as possible. Timing starts when a new world is opened with a new character. Timing ends when the third item appears in your inventory.
We need someone to do a run of all bosses and events, classic, seeded. At the moment, the time for random seed classic is around half of that of set seed classic. Heck, use the seed that the random seed world record generated!
Good point, but there's butter dog dog wit da butter on him% for botw, which is basically great plateau% with a little extra.
This does require starting hardmode as hallowed torches exist, and the Hallow doesn't appear pre-hardmode.
Essentially, an extension to torch god%. You trigger the Torch God event, complete it, use Torch God's Favor, then place a torch in each of the biomes with unique torch types. Timing starts when a new world has been entered with a new character. Timing ends when the last torch is placed.
Watching runners shoot from the cannons immediately in cannon countdown would be funny.
