Wow, that was a quick reply!
Thanks! You'll see some runs soon!
I was planning on doing some Arcade% and Original% Console runs off my Xbox, but I saw the rules say only Wii, Dreamcast, and emulator.
What's up with that? Is Xbox banned or something?
So I've been working pretty hard over the last week trying to figure out how to get in-game time calculated. The method I think is the most legitimate is only counting frames where the crosshair is on-screen, aka any time you can shoot the gun. That's how I got the IGT I posted on the run I've submitted, and no one has seemed to question that time yet.
If that is the correct way to do it, please tell me, because if it is, I have another issue to raise as well.
So could you put it as simply as "only the moments when you can shoot"? Does that cover everything in IGT?
Thanks, dude! I think I'll also try and get IGT times figured out for myself to see if I can learn how to do it. And I look forward to seeing your HOTD3 times!
So how do you figure the IGT of a run in this one? HotD3 is easy because it straight-up tells you, but how about in HotD2?
If I were to submit a run from an arcade cabinet, what category should I submit that under?
