I think that, first and foremost, the game should be categorized in Ego Draconis and DKS, since those are completely different runs with different objectives.

It would make sense to also split the game versions for these categories if it ever matters for competitive integrity. But that's secondary imo, since it's basically the same run, just with different enchantment values.
