Because I am absolutely terrible at staying on top of this forum while I'm doing a bunch of schoolwork and dragged all around, I've opened up a Discord server since it's way easier on me to reply to people.

If I knew how make it give an email per forum post, I'd be much more on top of this. However, that's just not the case right now.

These are more geared to those who are creative, but I personally would love to have a place to link my Bandcamp and Newgrounds (throwback!) page.

Discord (ftw), Slack, or an IRC server all appear to be the most viable options for the most part. If there is already such a group chat, I'd love to take part in it! I am currently in the process of obtaining a bunch of graphics that I'd like to create for VVVVVV so that I can start streaming it with a whole new overlay and possibly even nice splits too :D
