I updated it a bit. Replaced the crouch stair skip with a standing skip.
Hey everyone! So glad to finally see some activity on this game.
I've been busy on other things but I wanted to mention Ive been working on some crouching techniques that allow you to crouch run. This saves time from having to get back up. Also makes it so you are running at the start of crouching.
This can also bypass the slow stair triggers. I'm sure most of you have found the second stair skip. Well I thought that was from clipping the first crouch sequence but after trying head on I was able to get it bypass trigger from just crouching. (This is no longer valid as I've debunked bellow)
There are 3 types of crouch speeds. There is the normal slow speed. If you crouch and hit run at the right time you can speed up the normal crouching speed. Then there is the crouch run that I found but cant get it to replicate when needed. lol.
I was able to hit 7:38 but flippin OBS wasn't recording. So good luck runners.! Looking forward to seeing more records broken. I'll try to submit my times when I get a chance.
Update: The 3rd exit in the pool rooms on the first level is actually the fastest if the crouch run can be activated. There are no stairs on the 3rd exit but 4 crouch sequences. I think it saves about 4 seconds from wr if i remember.

This shows that you can skip the second stair trigger from a standing point... Im beginning to believe that this might be a special set of stairs because every time I try it on a different set, I cannot get past the trigger. I could of swore I hit it on other sets before...
Lol sorry about the timer being there. I forget that obs records it. Its been a learning curve having never used those two before.
