You can just give yourself the scythe with save editing, the item isn't dlc, its included in the game. Now you could argue that giving yourself a preorder only item via save editing is "stealing", and I'd agree if there was a Death's Bundle DLC on the steam store for $1.99, but there ain't.

The only people really locked out of the item are people on ps4, and there's not really much we can do for them. Unfortunately games that are multiplatform are almost always 99% PC runs overall, and the competitive times are usually only PC runs. (This will only get worse if someone makes a load remover.)

If you're going to run on ps4 I'd just avoid Any% - All Glitches, as every other run you can get a competitive time in without preorder items.
