Washington, USALol, I just started submitting runs, just found out about jump boosting after 3 submissions.....XD.
Thanks for reading hopefully this helps some of you out. Please, constructive criticism only helps. If I have something wrong here let me know and don't be afraid to add to it.
Firstly, lets disable that pesky 18+ Mod. Cause we all know you have it. When you go to the store page for Anime Stranding, on the right hand side you will see a box called "DLC" under the Achievements. Click the "Manage My DLC" button. When it opens, uncheck the box next to the nude mod.
Keep in mind, Jumping continuously does save time. Her run animation cancels when you jump again and you travel slightly faster than just running.
Mission 1: When you start and stand up, immediately start run jumping slightly to the left from camera start position. It takes the markers a few seconds to load in, you can save time by aiming towards that spot before they load.
Mission 2: Simple A to B, just jump run the whole way. I did find that by the water that kills you, if you time a jump next to it and the warning pops up it gives you a double jump but I haven't made it consistent.
Mission 3: Worst mission. Push the barrel to target. Here's some ways to make it easier. 1.) Jump on top of it going downhill to shoot it down faster. 2.) Use CTRL to walk slowly to gain control but you loose time. 3.) Press right and left as you move to prevent her legs from hitting it. 4.) If the steep hill is too much, there is a less steep hill to the left and doesn't loose to much time as it aligns with the goal better.
Mission 4: Rag-doll body. Not much to say but A to B. I did find a glitch that when you jump on the railing, your body will freak out and shoot you into the sky. This may be used to shoot you to the goal (MAYBE). I'm testing it.
Mission 5: Drive car A to B.
Just pointing out 7th place is marked as no DLC when its clear it is using the DLC flying car. Maybe should change that or make DLC a separate category so peeps without DLC can work towards an actual 1st place because the DLC eliminates regular runs.
I'm new to the site and was wondering why on MANY game leader-boards there are Rank 1, 2 and 3 players that have no videos to prove their run at all. Deleted videos from YT. Are boards just never updated on this site? The leader on Any% here has no video of the run, shouldn't the rank be removed?
I got farther than the first place video to that part where you have to jump in between the marks. Got their in 2:34 but I cannot get that last jump. And with the Stop glitch and random jump glitch, its pretty hard lol.
