Heya,

After receiving the game from Humble Bundle and playing for a bit, I decided to try running the game. I tried to set up Livesplit with the autosplitter, but whenever I try to get going it starts/ends the timer once, before just crashing Livesplit. On top of that it refuses to actually split between levels. Is there some fix for this or is the splitter just outdated and no longer working?

There are a few places that fall into a grey area with the current wording, which is exactly why it would be good to clarify some things. As for 3-3, climbing the pillars in the central room would definitely be inbounds, as it only allows you to reach areas otherwise reachable through jump pads (albeit in a sequence broken manner). The pillar in the top-right crystal area, and the jump into the cage, would currently be a massive grey area though. I would personally still lean inbounds, as there is no (extended) walking on scenery.

Another major point of contention might be the mage boss. Personally I feel like every strat at the mage boss is still inbounds for a few reasons:

  1. The crystals in phase 2 are reachable by just using a Double Jump and Mage Teleport, which falls under the general rule of what is inbounds.
  2. The crystals in phase 3 can be reached without turret climbing, albeit normally only by destroying a crystal after it comes down and then riding a platform back up.
  3. Although the devs didn't necessarily expect us to go up there, once we found the strats they decided to change how some of the scenery reacts to make sure we can actually see ourselves while jumping from crystal to crystal.

Interested to hear your opinions on this and if there's any other points of contention we might have.

Hey everyone, with the any% run constantly getting more OoB and OoB adjacent tricks, we want to make sure to set a proper guideline for what is and isn't OoB for the no-OoB categories. I have created a very rough draft for this in the document below, but this is very open for discussion and will still need some clarifications. Feel free to discuss the category in this thread and hopefully we can quickly get a decent ruleset going.

Hey all, Ive been learning the hyperjump in Slippery Climb and have been fairly consistently getting the jump, but when I get up on the wall on top I cant move anywhere, except off the wall to die from a fall there. Am I doing something wrong or did they patch it out in the pc version?
