This seems like a terrible idea in my opinion, You cant just mod whoever wants to be mod. I would say the current mods are great, we dont need more. I would like to use Frostrunner as an example of a game that has a fairly large base but still only has 2 moderators. As long as the mods are doing there job and doing it well then there is no problem wich they are, neinet and bluedeku have done great and never take more than a day to verify runs. There is no need to change how the moderators are handleing the game right now.
