Loads take up a lot of time in this game and seem to vary between consoles/PC. Would it be more beneficial to use RTA Minus Loads as the timing method for this game? or at least have a loadless column on the leaderboards?
Another suggestion is categories. Any% skips basically every temple using flymode and OOBs so:
Any% remains any% with flymode/OOBs etc. allowed.
Any% No Major Skips or Any% No Fly Glitch - Where flymode glitch is disallowed, and maybe OOBs too.
These are just suggestions i'd like to know what the other runners/mods think. I am happy with the way it is currently too if we keep it as is.
Saves approximately 5 minutes over old IL.
With all current strats, sub 40 should be doable. Maybe there is an OOB for Archives.

With a precise jump from the spot I show in the video, you can trigger flymode indoors consistently. This means we can trigger flymode at the start on the way down, and use bird for rest of the archives :)
I think this is what KimInTheAttic meant in her thread.
I am not sure on the mechanics, other than it seems to require either a certain height, or passing over very close to ground, but then missing it and landing somewhere else. As you can see in the video, I just about miss the ground after the jump, which I believe triggers the glitch.
tl;dr Can activate fly indoors consistently, the strat seems to be to jump into freefall, get very close to the ground, then miss it and it should trigger flymode.

I haven't checked to see if it softlocks, I don't think it does. Saves around a minute.
