Hey, I've just played Fireboy and Watergirl 1 - The Forest Temple (2009) HTML5 version for the first time and submitted my first runs of any kind anywhere ever (1P Any% and 100% at 1h12m55s). Gotta start somewhere, and this game is a nice little challenge, controlling both characters at once.

Primarily, this post is to say hello to the speedrunning community. Hello! :D

Second, I can see there are some ways to be more precise for the measurement of runs and will be trying to integrate these in future, such as the autosplitter, or making sure to start the timer at the start and not after redoing the tutorial (didn't realise first tutorial runs before final success counted as part of the run, thought restarting it counted as restarting the run). So I have some things to learn, along with much time to save. :)

This is my first real step into speedrunning, I look forward to the rest of the journey.
