I managed to resolve the crashing issues, which were random each time, by following the engine ini tweaks section on the video I'll link at the end. I completed my first full run (about 3hr 18) only for the footage to be corrupt. Validated the software on Steam and turns out 6 files needed reinstalled. FML =)

That said, how you long term runners do this, while also remaining composed, and often with perfection....blows my mind. I was struggling to stay focused and composed at the 2-2:30 mark and started rushing. Though I did enjoy my first real go at speed running.

are we able to pick up from where we left of with a second recording, or does it have to be one consistent recording? I've had 3 attempts, longest being 1hr 59 before crashing.

Saw a video last night for RCRC and thought speedrunning is something new I'd like to try. I have some questions about the legitimacy of potential future level runs:

I have my HUD turned off, and I disabled mouse acceleration as it's just awful in any game. Does this disqualify any potential level or full game runs? Or is there a place for this?
