So I want a new challenge for speedrunning and this game was one of my favourites in the early 2000s.
I have downloaded the splits and currently use livesplit but I somehow can't get the detailed timer to connect to the game.
Is there a way to do this? I have the game from GOG GALAXY as that seems to be the only place you can get it these days.

you should be able to add them by right clicking somewhere on LiveSplit -> Edit Layout -> Timer -> Detailed Timer.
If you are talking about the AutoSplitter. It currently has some bugs, but I will update it in the next few days. That might also resolve the issues. Feel free to hit me up on Discord though, then we might be able to fix it for you as well.

Regarding the AutoSplitter, I have just made a few changes to it. Reason was that sometimes it would not split correctly. This might even fix your issue.
If LiveSplit does not prompt you that it was updated, delete the "TheSufferingPrisonIsHell.asl" file from your components folder in the LiveSplit directory and restart LiveSplit. After that, open the edit splits menu and enable the AutoSplitter. Still, feel free to add me on discord in case you need help with it.
