TAS or Sum of Best?

So as we get to the lowest time possible we need to know the actual best time possible. So I'm looking for your best segments (as adding up the level category gets 8:45 because of runs that haven't been submitted) or a way we can make a TAS. We could also make a human TAS (which has been done in games like Mario Odyssey) so we could try to go for individual level runs and I understand if you don't want to.

I know I haven't beat CBE2009 in CP or BSF, but I probably do have a better run for SAM or L City. I'll look through my runs. As for a TAS, that could be difficult as the game is pretty complicated. I'll do some ILs for SAM and L City, as they are definitely beatable.

probably these are the best humanly times that we can get:

1.51 CP

1.44 SAM

1.22-23 LC? (with the impossible skip)

and 3.32 BSF

So... yeah... 8.2x is physically possible

But... wait a second, because... for some strange reason Mahoney's timer in the first 3 worlds is always a little slower than mine...

This, I don't know why... is convincing me that 8.1x is also possible...

For those interested, I found a bug that can be done in the SAM and the LC but I don't know how much they can help the run... but the effect is terribly surprising.

My timer is slower because my game is lagging. Everything should be lagging at the same rate though, so the lag isn't an advantage.

That glitch is interesting. It appears you're on the world map and in the game at the same time... I'll have to experiment with that and see if it will be helpful for the run. Can't do it now though, that will have to wait for around 12 hours when I have time.

I would add that the glitch is only possible on scratch, on turbowarp the game will softlock.

I don't know how useful it could be though, the movement to do is different from the running process...
