Also, my initial intuition is that the run you've submitted will be the true any% run, and that the other entries will be moved to a new glitchless category. But let me know what you think, I definitely want to hear your thoughts!

So, this glitch has actually been known about for quite some time. I don't remember who discovered it, but it was brought up in my stream back when I was doing runs.

As for the category, because of the setup required from a previous save file, I'd argue that any% should remain as is, the new category should be NewGame+, since it's similar to how other game's NG+ categories work.

This is absolutely one of my favorite games of all time, and I want to do anything I can to help further our collective knowledge of the mechanics of it.
