I took like 2h to get this time with states. In practice I switched between this and the old movement, but I just couldn't get better than a 9.56. At some point I couldn't get lower than a 9.7x with the old movement anymore, so I decided to keep trying this strat. After a long time I got a 9.50 (twice) without ever getting a 9.53. I got a bunch of pretty much perfectly looking attempts that all got 9.6x and after a while I got another 9.56. Was kinda frustrating, since those attempts already seemed perfect, but then I got this and skipped 9.53 again. The ending angle of this wasn't perfect, so it felt worse than my other attempts, so no idea how this was that much better.
