I hadn't played this game in a long while, but after learning about speedrun strats for the true arena I decided to try running it.

After a fair few attempts (and runs ruined by Lololo and Lalala/Marx Soul RNG), I've managed to bring my PB from 10+ minutes to just under 5 minutes. I'm rather proud of myself, even if I'm nowhere near the WR.
