SO. you may have noticed that i have recently switched to goiwbffx w/ ghosts. the main appeal of that version being ghosts.
However, in order to load this project on my crappy iphone, i need to clear out EVERY LAST BIT OF RAM, and even then it occasionally crashes.
I tried cutting down on the assets, but ive tested other projects on my iphone w/ similar asset counts to the one i ended up with below, and they seem to suffer the same problem.

So i tried just manually adding ghosts to the minimodpack, but copy/pasting the goiwbffx ghost code didnt work, and i don't know how replay codes work, so i cant just make up my own code.
the link to my attempt at this is below:

i gotta wrap this up quick and go to bed, so uh byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I made this for you https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1193383204
I still want to learn more about how replay codes work tho.
i assume they record the player x, player y, mouse x, & mouse y for each frame in that order, so for example, 0_99_-240_180+ would spawn the player at the starting position with the cursor at the top left corner of the screen. however, they also record sounds and the framerate at the end of the run, so that's where i get lost.
edit: tested, does not work.
I can't guarantee but I think they also record speed x and speed y and maybe a few other things
It used to but not anymore lol, it does record player/hammer/mouse positions though so 6 variables
ok so i looked over the save replay function, and it was pretty easy to understand. however, i have 1 more question about it.
HOW ON GODS GREEN EARTH DOES IT RECORD THE FRAMERATE AT THE END OF THE RUN
i swear i searched every single last block in the save replay function and i found nothing that would save the framerate.
i also looked at the load replay function, and after careful calculations, i have concluded that its just blastmagic. (not sorry for that) i dont understand anything beyond the 7th block.
