This map can be very hard to survive, but at least you get plasma rifle and BFG early. I liked leading the caco's out of that narrow hallway before running in.

Might be worth leaving the plasma ammo in the opening and grabbing the 2 big ones with the BFG to have more ammo for the later parts of the run.
