I’m pretty new to doom speedrunning, I run it on the ps4. Is there a certain method to making the jump in E1M4 or do you just run and hope?

Everyone has there own setup with the e1m4 jump. So its best to find your own consistent method that will work. In case you want to know how to do other tricks, check out guides and it should help you. And welcome :)

Tip of the day: Strafe running towards the ledge is your best friend. Remember that. Gives you a better chance of making the jump.
