Cheese Throwing Glitch

When you throw a piece of cheese in the air, it resets your jump, so if you alternate between the throw and the jump buttons, you can fly through the stage. If you are trying to complete the game as quickly as possible, you need to utilize cheese throwing constantly. 

All tips provided are for the Nintendo Switch version of Dongo Adventure

Coins

Coins play an irritating yet potentially necessary role in this game; every time you die, you lose 5 coins. If you die with less than 5 coins, the game boots you back to the level selection menu, losing your ability to re-spawn at the checkpoint (or boss fight) if you had already reached it.

Now before I explain where each coin is, I will assume you know how to progress through the levels/play and beat the game. I am playing on a Switch-- the PC game may be different.

Sewer (5 total):

-COIN #1: Just above the first green toxic puddle you will encounter. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #2: Visible if you keep moving to the right of the first coin and jump on the red hose valve. Getting to it is relatively easy, just keep platforming to the right until you pass the second green toxic puddle, then fall into the area with the can just beneath it. There's a spider and a cricket you will need to be cautious of. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #3: Moving to the right from coin #2, push the tin can to the right and jump onto the island that has a green timed barrier on both sides. The coin is clearly visible from here. You will need to either use the cheese throwing glitch or time your jump(s) on the red bug correctly to gain enough height to reach it. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #4: Climb up the pipe and jump onto the light bulb above the checkpoint. The coin is clearly visible from here and easy to reach; as a matter of fact you pretty much have to be intentional to avoid collecting this one. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #5: Just off the final plank of wood(with a cricket on it) before the water part. Really hard to miss. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

Garbage (5 total):

-COIN #1: Under the first red bug at the start. Easy to spot, but sometimes a bit difficult to collect without getting sniped by the bug. I suggest you squash it first before collecting the coin. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #2: Between two of the tires sticking out of the water. Time a good jump or three onto the green bug and you should have it, otherwise try cheese throwing. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #3: During the first section of the level where you float on the water with a green bottle, look for the green bug flying left and right. The coin is difficult to miss. Avoiding the bug is relatively easy if you're patient. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

-COIN #4: After the checkpoint, during the second section where you float on the water with a bottle. Under the talons of the first eagle swooping up and down. Kinda a pain to collect if you're trying to be fast about it and not take damage. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

-COIN #5: During the same ride as coin #4, just after the second eagle. A bit easier to collect. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

Lake (5 total):

-COIN #1: Over the second gap in the bridge at the very start, just before the straw hat. Be careful to not be sniped by the fish. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #2: At the end of the straw hat ride, between the 2nd and 3rd wooden poles you parkour between. A carefully timed jump should do the trick. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #3: Above the first red frog. Bounce on the frog and you should easily collect it. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

-COIN #4: Above the crocodile's head soon after the checkpoint. Time the jump onto the crocodile's head carefully so you don't drown. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

-COIN #5: At the very end of the level, above the final gap in the pier. Cheese throw or time a careful jump or three on the red bug to collect it. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

---
House (4 total):

-COIN #1: On top of the purple-ish container after you fall down onto the table(the one with the spider and  perfume container the you can push) at the start. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #2: Parkour over to between the kitchen table and the stove. The coin is clearly visible. Cheese throw or time a good jump or three onto the red bug to collect it. Collecting it gives you 10 coins.

-COIN #3: High up at the right end of the bed. Push the red hat over to it, but not as far as possible. Try to position the hat so the highest point is directly under the coin. If you don't align the hat correctly, a good cheese throw should get you enough height to reach it. Collecting it gives you 5 coins.

-COIN #4: At the very end of the level, above the final red bug. The coin is clearly visible. Cheese throw or time a good jump or three on the red bug to reach it. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

Factory (5 total):

-COIN #1: Above the first crank handle you have to jump on. The hitbox disappears VERY quickly after you jump on it, so the moment you land on the handle, jump again. If you miss, either cheese throw or die to have another chance to collect it. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

-COIN #2: Just after the first elevating platform. Coin is in plain view. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

-COIN #3: At the end of the platform parkour, after you lob a slice of cheese at the button to bring over the final platform. This one could be a bit tricky to reach if you land on the de-escalating platform instead of the small platform that doesn't move. Collecting it gives you 10 coins

-COIN #4: On the second elevating platform after the sawblades and second hand crank you have to activate. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

-COIN #5: Just before you enter the pipe to to boss fight. The coin is in plain sight, but you must time a good jump or three onto the final bug to collect it. Cheese throwing works, too. Collecting it gives you 1 coin.

Factory Any% Guide

Factory-
	It is faster to sprint through the claws rather than wait for them to perform the pattern, so at the beginning of the level, just sprint and dodge the boxes on the conveyor belt. After the claw section, you are supposed to hit a lever that will trigger a yellow and black elevator to raise you up to a section of tricky platforming, but you are able to cheese throw across the very large gap and skip the upper section of the level.
	After you land on the other side of the chasm, you will be put on another conveyor belt with occasional sawblades coming through. The sawblades can be jumped over without cheese throwing, but it can be very tricky to time the jump, so it is recommended to use a piece of cheese or two to fly temporarily to clear the sawblade. You then hit your head on the lever and ride the elevator up to the final stretch before the final boss. Note: it is likely that jumping over the sawblades without cheese will allow you to have enough cheese left over so that you can skip having to hit the lever that triggers the elevator.
	On the final stretch to the final boss, there are beams of electricity that you may or may not have to wait on to perform their pattern. There is a long jump that must be made to reach the pipe that houses the final boss. The developer intended for the mosquito to be used to make the jump, but cheese throwing is much more effective.
	Cheese throwing can be used to skip the final boss fight as well, but you will not have enough cheese when entering the final boss. Luckily there are multiple cheese spawns in the final boss fight that provide much more cheese than ordinary cheese pickups. As soon as you enter the final boss, immediately grab the cheese to your right and begin cheese throwing while moving left. The ceiling of the boss fight has no hit detection, so you can fly over the sewage stream without needing to hit the boss three times. You do have to stand on the lever on the left side of the boss fight stage before the lever that ends the game will function, so hit the lever on the left and begin flying until you have cleared both the sewage pipe on the left side of the boss fight, and the sewage pipe on the right side. Land on the lever at the right side of the level, and the run ends as soon as the light turns green. Be careful on the final lever. The kill plane is very high, and can easily result in a run-ending death.
