Here are general tips for using speed tech for your run.

Menu Button: Using the inventory button (X) over using the start menu to access the inventory saves several frames adding up through out the game.

Fast Access Air Recharge: You can access majority of the air recharge stations quite a bit aways from it, this saves time since you dont have to approach the wall all the way to access the station.

Item Button Health Kits: Setting any of the health kits to the fast item button (Z) will save time compared to using them by accessing the start menu then inventory.
