The new remaster seems to have built in FPS cap. Disabling VSYNC in Control panels didn't fix it. Any ideas?

Remaster's FPS cap is hard-coded and there is no known way to remove it. You need the original release.

That really sucks. I've got the original release from GOG but it mucks with my resolution on both monitors. I've spent the day trying to force windowed mode to try to fix that but no luck. Also all the video cutscenes have stopped playing for me. I get sound, just no video. Runnable, but annoying AF
