Before Total Warhammer, there was Mark of Chaos. It has a lot of the group unit mechanics that came to define Total War, but is more primitive. A very linear campaign, this still is one of the best pieces of Warhammer gaming that has ever been released. The voice acting, characters, unit models, they are all fantastic. Its even set in the awesome Old World, rather than the new Age of Sigmar garbage universe.
