Was just playing casually, standing in the area directly before the cutscene for Topoda, and decided to show my roommate the gun option. Fired a couple rounds and didn't realize i was pointing directly at where the boss spawns, and before I could realize what happened, the cutscene started and I had defeated him. Completely skipped the opening cutscene of the fight without having to press start.
