This skip was found by me.
We are skipping the 2nd boss, and giving the Shadowflame Rockets a much clearer path, which ultimately saves about 10 seconds in Any%, and probably close to a minute in Timewalking.
Details on the skip:
- Use the Motion Sick Peon's Magical Elixir. It can be purchased in this dungeon as well (you do not have to purchase it during the actual run). (In the video, I did a 180° during the blackout.)
- Move to the area shown, and triple jump + backflip to get up above the doorframe.
- Turn right and dash to get out. (The angle is a bit specific. If you don't have it right, you won't clip out.)
- Dash to get outside of the tracks.
- There is a massive killzone. The path shown goes all the way around it. Yes it would be possible to get to the last wagon more directly, but the killzone extends there as well.
Q: Why use the Motion Sick Peon's Magical Elixir? A: Technically the same skip is possible without it, however, a) There will be several solid objects outside that come at you at high speeds, which will get you stuck. b) It seemed to me that the killplanes move along with the scenery. I couldn't get to the final boss because something random always killed me, but feel free to give it a try.
Items used:
- Wearing: Lv70 full Mastery crafted Dragonflight gear (with the Blue Silken Lining embelishment), 3x Azerite Armor with the Longstrider trait, speed enchants, Mastery & Movement speed gems
- Before entering: Fried Bonefish, Charged Phial of Alacrity, 2 x Hissing Rune, Pep-In-Your-Step
- During run: Motion Sick Peon's Magical Elixir, Shadowflame Rockets
