IGT & LRT
- IGT (In Game Time) is the in-game timer we can see. This is particularly interesting in training, as this is what makes the in-game leaderboard
- LRT (Load Removed Time) is the time elapsed from the start to the end, without load times. This is particularly interesting in campaign, as it takes CPU and damage times into account
Overall, LRT has been chosen as the default timing method since it best describes the time spent on a mission; even in training, it's possible to take damage.
Categories
Single level training
- IGT: the in-game time you end up with at the end
- LRT: the amount of time between the beginning of the mission and the end. In most cases this is equivalent to the IGT. In some other cases (worm damage or bug) this will be longer than IGT
Single level campaign
- IGT: the in-game time you end up with at the end
- LRT: the amount of time from the start of the mission to just before the mission results page appears
Full runs (both training and campaign)
- IGT: the sum of the in-game times including restarts
- LRT: the amount of time from the start of the first mission to just before the last mission results page appears
Retiming
LRT Retiming is needed when:
- a single training level run timer paused
- LiveSplit was not used on a single campaign run or full training/campaign runs
- LiveSplit was used on a full training run but in IGT mode
YouTube retiming
- On YouTube, use "," and "." respectively to go to the previous or next frame
- https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/ takes the start and stop points of a YouTube video, down to the frame, and gives the time between them in the format 1h 23m 45s 678ms

Timer start
For the start of a full run or single level run, use the first frame where the round timer isn't greyed out anymore.

Timer end
For the end of a full run or single level run, at the end of the (last) mission, the score panel will quickly disappear and come back. Use the first frame when the panel reappears.

Loading start
For a full run, loading times need to be subtracted. The start frame of the loading time is when we first see the first full black screen coming from the main menu.

with new moderators, some changes have occurred! You no longer need to send the same record twice for Training IL runs, as that's unnecessary.
