Starting Points
- Cerise is faster for item runs. This is because she doesn't have negative speed when backtracking over tiles, Ecru does.
- Make sure each run begins with 99 of every item. Items are shared across saves, so having a save just for buying is ideal.
- Make sure to enable "Short Mode", this can be done by standing in the top left corner of the start area, and holding left. You can also open the cosmetics menu and continue to hold left, allowing you to change Cerise's hat while still enabling Short Mode.
- Any use of the Wrap Paper, should be done with Wrap Paper Strafing. This can be done by holding the item button and a direction, your character will stay facing the direction you used the Wrap Paper, but move in the direction you hold.
- Both forced Wobbler interactions can be skipped by jumping past them diagonally.
- When you enter the "Bonus Phase" of a level, it's faster to hold a diagonal angle when backtracking over tiles
How To Read Route
The route below will list each level, along with the item or items you should use in the level along with any item pickup from the level itself which will be placed in ()s. Keep in mind, items for use are unlocked as you progress, so even if you have 99 of every item, you won't have access to EVERY item at world 1.
Example: X-X Max Power (Stamp). Max Power is the item from the item menu you should use, (Stamp) is an item in the level you should also use. If a level says "item/item" it means either item can be used in place of each other, depending on what you want to use.
