I think this game should be an IL leaderboard, with each chapter being an IL and the player count being each category. You could make a subcategory for chapter 2 alone for true ending vs normal ending. With this system in place, it's literally just one click to add any future chapters, and it also allows for a full-game category of "all chapters".
is this allowed in non-fatty granny runs you can deadass just go through that wall. it has no collision you can do the same thing on the other side to go through the fatty jr portal
To make it easier to figure out the tier of a country and submit to the right category, I will be filling impossible categories with runs from "—" with a time of one second. If you see a — run, don't submit to that tier.
I apologize in advance for the hundreds of notifications you're gonna get over the next few days/weeks; it's gonna take a while.
corner clips are patched, runs doing them should be rejected
For now I have removed the Glitched category due to the fact that there aren't any known glitches that save time in speedruns. If you know of any or are curious if a specific trick is a glitch, post it here.
the % doesn't mean anything for Glitchless%
Glitchless means you complete the game without gitches
The "Guardian%" category is just killing the guardian as fast as possible, glitches allowed, so you may as well just call it "Guardian" since you don't actually finish the game in the category
you did not explain anything about the "speedrunning thing with tips", i think a discord server for rickey rat speedrunning would be a good decision
it's completing the game as fast as possible, just call it Any%
fps unlocker affects the timer and allows for faster times without any changes in gameplay, might wanna ban that
I think timing should start on first movement instead of clicking the start button because it avoids the load time and is a little clearer on when it begins.

Is it allowed to rebind left click to other keys to allow for faster mashing? It isn't using an autoclicker and each input still corresponds to a button press.
-
Segmented runs should not be allowed. They easily allow for splices and cheated runs and there isn't really any reason for them to be allowed other than people being too weak to do the whole thing at once.
(Edit) 3. Please make a discord server for this game and/or join the Roblox Speedrunning discord at https://discord.gg/7se2V85 to make communication easier :)
uhh the video drops to like 0.2 fps after a minute, is this really something that can be verified
You can accurately find the length of a speedrun down to the frame with a method known as "retiming."
Mango Man's frame retimer ( available at http://retime.mcbe.wtf/ ) is a good tool for this and gives an explanation on the site, but I thought I might as well do it here too.
First, you need to find the framerate/fps of the video, which can be done by right clicking on a video on youtube and clicking "Stats for nerds." The third line of the box that appears in the upper left says "Current / Optimal Res," and the number after the @ symbol tells you the fps.
After you find and input the fps into the tool, get the exact time of the start of the run by navigating to the first frame (used by pressing the , and . keys), right clicking, and clicking "Copy debug info." Paste the debug info for the first frame into the "Starting frame:" box and the debug info for the last frame into the "Ending frame:" box.
After you have inputted all of the necessary information, the final retimed time of the run appears in the box below, as well as a message including all of the information used for the calculation.
If you find the time of a submitted run to be different from the result of the retime, you can click the triple vertical dots below the video to the right and click "Edit run" to fix it manually.
I think this tool would be very helpful considering the current team just clicks verify without retiming or fixing the times of runs, making the leaderboard inaccurate. Thank you for reading and considering.
i think the leaderboards would look a lot cleaner if you moved each chapter and made them Individual Levels, since each chapter isn’t really a full-game run
Item clipping is not allowed in runs as it uses an autoclicker and possibly a frame capping/unlocking software. The leaderboards and rules have been adjusted accordingly; I wasn’t aware runs were using this and I have promptly banned it.
item clipping is banned in every single roblox game in the series except for this one, it also breaks 2 of the general site rules

Turbo controllers or such with non-native functions are disallowed by default unless specified otherwise in a game's rules. (Exception: Turbografx-16, which has native turbo controller support) Autoclickers/auto key tappers are the keyboard equivalent of turbo controllers, allowing someone to press the button rapidly without doing anything.
-
The game itself must not be altered or controlled with outside tools. Exceptions can be made on a community basis (e.g., character creation scripts, logo/cutscene removal dlls, etc.) Autoclickers/auto key pressers fall under the category of outside tools, as well as fps unlockers/cappers if someone decides to use that to assist item clipping.
While both of these say that exceptions can be made for certain leaderboards, this shouldn't be one of them. On a community basis the entire roblox speedrunning series has determined that item clipping should be banned, and you should as well.
