I think timing should start on first movement instead of clicking the start button because it avoids the load time and is a little clearer on when it begins.

Is it allowed to rebind left click to other keys to allow for faster mashing? It isn't using an autoclicker and each input still corresponds to a button press.

Segmented runs should not be allowed. They easily allow for splices and cheated runs and there isn't really any reason for them to be allowed other than people being too weak to do the whole thing at once.

if it was a separate category almost all of the levels would be empty
if the skips don’t use glitches they belong in glitchless 🙂
no
and even if they were they would most likely be categories for doomspire itself
uhh the video drops to like 0.2 fps after a minute, is this really something that can be verified
thats literally just against roblox tos
what if you added a non-subcategory variable for each map so that the maps are displayed on the leaderboard but don't affect separation?
You can accurately find the length of a speedrun down to the frame with a method known as "retiming."
Mango Man's frame retimer ( available at http://retime.mcbe.wtf/ ) is a good tool for this and gives an explanation on the site, but I thought I might as well do it here too.
First, you need to find the framerate/fps of the video, which can be done by right clicking on a video on youtube and clicking "Stats for nerds." The third line of the box that appears in the upper left says "Current / Optimal Res," and the number after the @ symbol tells you the fps.
After you find and input the fps into the tool, get the exact time of the start of the run by navigating to the first frame (used by pressing the , and . keys), right clicking, and clicking "Copy debug info." Paste the debug info for the first frame into the "Starting frame:" box and the debug info for the last frame into the "Ending frame:" box.
After you have inputted all of the necessary information, the final retimed time of the run appears in the box below, as well as a message including all of the information used for the calculation.
If you find the time of a submitted run to be different from the result of the retime, you can click the triple vertical dots below the video to the right and click "Edit run" to fix it manually.
I think this tool would be very helpful considering the current team just clicks verify without retiming or fixing the times of runs, making the leaderboard inaccurate. Thank you for reading and considering.
i think you checked "Timer asc." on accident, just turn it off and it'll be fixed
no, they cannot be played anymore
any games that copy the old versions are unreliable and should not be used
please do not post irrelevant and useless forums, this is not the place for that. consider joining the discord server for the game if you wish to ask stuff like that
