As for splitting or skipping split without pausing the game or anything, it's something you get used to while speedrunning. Most people wait a bit before skipping splits though (they mostly wait for a moment where you don't have too much to do in-game).
Ce que j'entends par "mode casu", c'est quand tu joues pour la détente ou le plaisir à la base (quand tu joues comme tout le monde tout simplement)

Pour les glitchs, en général le mieux c'est de se renseigner (du coup c'est soit de la doc, du texte, soit des vidéos, des tuto). Pour certains jeux, malheureusement, y'a pas de tuto ou de doc, du coup faut demander à la communauté du jeu (sur discord, sur twitter ou autre).
Dans le cas d'Odyssée, je pense que tu devrais commencer par le forum du jeu : https://www.speedrun.com/smo/forum Je vois aussi que la communauté a un serveur discord, du coup à mon avis, le mieux serait de rejoindre le serveur discord, y'aura forcément du monde et tu pourras poser des questions et avoir de l'aide par rapport au jeu.
Par contre, à mon avis ça sera surtout en anglais, même s'il y a surement des français (mario c'est juste trop connu, impossible qu'il n'y ai que des anglais pour le coup).
Que dire de plus sinon... Certains jeux sont plus facile que d'autres, que ce soit les glitchs ou la run en elle-même, mais au final pratiquer est très important (et jouer en mode casu, ça compte aussi, je connais beaucoup de runners qui maîtrisent leur jeu, alors que pourtant ils ne s'entraînent pas autant que d'autre, du coup à ce moment là le skill vient surtout du fait de connaître le jeu, d'avoir l'habitude d’exécuter quelques techniques, etc).

Hai, i'm a bit confused about this so i though i'd ask instead of making a dumb decision.
Basically, there's a serie i manage, wich is mostly for "official" games.
There's a fangame that's related to that serie though, i kinda wanna add it to the serie, but is it really a good idea, since it's not "official" ?
Also, i didn't see any option to add "fangame" below it, wich i think could make things a bit confusing (and tbh that really bothers me too).
Go on the leaderboard of your game -> Click "Edit Game" -> Scroll down, at some point you'll reach "Full-Game categories" and "Individual Levels categories" -> Click on "New Category" (full-game for... full game, individual levels for... individual levels) -> Write your stuff (any% no potatoes etc etc) -> Once you're done, scroll up, and, just in case, click on the green "Save" button -> Categories should be showing in the corresponding parts of the leaderboard (full-game and / or individual levels)

Personnaly, i think it should just be another category (or subcategory ?). I mean, for once it's not people actually modifying the game files, but a real, legit version running at more than 60 fps, so imo it's worth atleast giving it a chance ?

Boktai 1 & 2 barely have any downtime Resident Evil games (atleast the old ones, like 3 and 2) on PC barely does too, since you can skip almost everything. I think Dino Crisis PC works just the same also.
