I'll give that a try then but thanks for adding the section for the mod. I'll hopefully get some time to do a few runs on the original version.
I don't plan to run the category just thought the term didn't really count towards what the run requires which is a minimum of 2 playthroughs before you even speedrun. This doesn't apply to ps4 users they got madhouse unlocked early as a pre order bonus.
I guess I'm in the minority seeing it this way.
madhouse isn't available right away it wasn't for me so I would have to play through it twice at least to get everything.
Those that are running NG+ have technically completed the game 2/3 times before they've started doing the speedrun. That's at least 2 playthroughs if you completed your first under 4 hours (to get the circular saw) before you've even got to the actual speedrun.
A true NG+ would be just using the Albert were a NG++ would be Albert/circular saw/infinite ammo.
Maybe I'm just being anal about it but thought I would post my thoughts.
Submitted a run I've not ran it in ages but thanks :) for allowing a category for this. I would run the original version but it just crashes for me way too much to be worth running in that state.
any chance there could be a section for running thief 3 gold fan made mod version ?
I'm wondering why you have it set-up as 2 categories based on pages found from playing this and also speed running Alan Wake pages mean very little and change nothing in regards to the runs.
I would maybe suggest removed the categories and just have any%
Both me and Mec are doing full runs to the actual end of the game while the other 2 I see listed are simply killing the dragon which isn't the ending to the game.
We need clarification on Any% as it makes little to no sense having these runs put in the same category.
If some just want to run to the dragon then it should be in its own category but the Any% run is pretty much clear from both mine and mecs run.
Yeah I would be up for moderating this I wasn't clear on where to look to get in contact :D but someone pointed out the forum.
