New Jersey, USAYou do understand that forums are supposed to be for related or unsolved issues to Flood Escape 2, right? Stormy kind of has the justification to lock or delete threads that aren't related to FE2 or have been solved issues/debates, that's basically all it is, not them being mean or rude in any way, but it also helps to not clog the forums for if someone actually needs an issue solved and such.
I know the issue in this thread has been resolved but can I just say that you, @0FFSUBJECT, have honestly been quite annoying and rude from what i've seen and read over the last week or two, and it isn't ticking me off, but it should be brought up that you are potentially annoying other people like the Mods, or other members in general, but that's again, my train of thought, I don't need a sarcastic comment back from this so just keep it at this, alright?
Ah, well that’s atleast nice that you do have a sort of heads-up to this sort of thing, and I don’t think you should necessarily rush yourselves just to remove old runs and such, since it’s much better to make sure that you know which updates will go through or not before making any assumptions, plus I figured it would be hard to run subcategories for older maps, and it could make more work for you guys (or gals), but if you’re dealing with situations in the real world, it wouldn’t do much good to get even more records than are currently being submitted, but that’s just my train of thought.
Eh, it doesn’t fully come as a surprise, as mods could be dealing with outside issues of just life in general, but like you said, we’ll see what happens, since all we can do is make assumptions right now.
I'd assume it'd just be updated to fit the current version and all older runs with patched skips will be removed, either that or they would have to make a whole new system for old and new maps.
That's fair, i've noticed that Crazy is working on the game a lot more, so that's good, and might allow us to potentially have some new maps to run soon as well.
Yeah, I know the title makes it seem like i'm going to be talking about how good I am or a small announcement about what i'm going to run.
But, i'm actually going to be taking a month or longer break from speedrunning and most activities on the internet in general except for my own personal playing time and social medias for most likely 2-3 months.
The Reason: Yesterday, I was informed about my grandfather, who has now sadly passed away, and i've never really had to deal with losing a family member so it's definitely hurt me a good bit, along with a good amount of mental issues in the mix, so i've been, quite frankly, fucked up by this experience and it's going to be stuck with me for quite a bit until I get over all of this.
I don't want anyone to really try and talk to me, i'm fine except for all this, i'm not going to kill myself, so please don't worry about me too much.
I'm hoping i'll get over this quickly and maybe by August if possible, though most likely Mid-September or Early-October is when i'll come back.

Today i've been doing solo runs with my friend and we noticed that when we try the first skip of Cave System which are in Jacky and BumbleBeeSlayer's runs, we find that we cannot perform it and we feel that they might be invalid at this time.

Skipless really doesn't make any sense unless we say no ladder jumps and only corner cuts where the game already has them without skipping a huge part, we'd honestly be just reversing optimized runs back to the start.
Simple as that, either play with one or two people with you, all POVs must be shown, and the Glitchless% Multiplayer can be for anyone that has 3+ people with them. Give me your thoughts.
Well we can't get the Any% lowered any more than what it is now then, we could leave it up, but people like Soul_Ls privated their runs because the speedglitch was patched, so removing Any% could happen.
So recently I was scrolling through records because I was bored and I went into the Sky Sanctuary Any% Category, and I watched a video of the 2nd place record, and they were using the speed glitch which is no longer usable, and I wondered if the records should stay despite it being no longer usable in game, if so then people would have a chance to get Any% records again.
Considering how most of the community is dead, this might not get added, but it's not a bad idea in any means.
