oh and just took a look and both fun fair runs by eric use a power orb and you do attack enemies in fun fair so... i also might as well say: not trying to hate or anything, its just good to have rules enforced i supposed

There is such thing as "item boosting", where the player gains a boost from an item. This can be used to optimise any chapter with an item in to my knowledge (unsure if coils work). Mentioned just finale and C3 in the title to make it short. Here is a video, I do NOT take credit for this.

I know you don't use any of the warps, however you still enter the area. I did 85 attempts, I think less than 10 actually got past the clip, none getting past Fun Fair. The clip makes the category unfun for me. You could also have just a glitchless category if you want

i don't think that's the case 100% of the time, but im unsure it's not that big of a deal but it would be nice to at least know why as long as it doesn't happen in runs fixing it wont be a top priority to me

(using nestopia btw) occasionally, when playing a level it will refuse to let me jump in a certain spot, and it will keep doing that it's not my keyboard or anything since it's only in that specific spot, it has happened numerous times in numerous places

Hmm... maybe we could do it so you pause when you get teleported, then you can either watch the transition or skip it, but with both you unpause the moment you get teleported?

Ngl it'd be a timesave as well over skipping it.
