@Komrade Old marathons are kept on the site for archiving purposes as far as I know - for example the Prince of Persia Marathon 2016 got restored by Pac after we originally deleted it when said policy was integrated into the site.
The closest thing we have for that is the WW NMG strat playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_7kNUIjkDcnhlRVUl5z5JGR2NDD95-rv
Hey! To get the quickest possible help, it's probably best if you join the Crash Bandicoot Speedrun Discord (see "Discord" in the menu on the left) and post your exact questions in the #nst channel.
Can you post a picture of the load remover tab of your livesplit?
Make sure that in the load remover tab, the "Remove Transitions" box is checked.
This is a community project which started in January and was finished in July of 2018. Segment contributors were: @7eraser7 @Asco @epicdudeguy @GrizzzzBear @tocaloni1 @Vynneve
This project was first revealed live at ESA Summer 2018. Watch the VOD (with chat) here:
- Nothing about uncapping FPS in a PC game is standard, the smallest portion of games does that if it's justified by very big skips not possible otherwise.
- This gonna be fun
This one was tricky to decide. Fact of the matter is that there exists, at least to my knowledge, literally one video on Youtube of the glitch being performed (although the leaderboard had a handful of, maybe 10 or so, times below 36?). This is obviously too small of a sample size to decide "It has been patched because it hasn't been replicated". However, I did contact Jordy about it if he or actually anybody in the old PS4 TT community has performed this glitch ever or at least knows more about it - I hope this will lead to clearing up this case eventually.
That category already exists and is called "Any%" - the rules don't force you to use hobslides. In fact getting a good time without it is possible (e.g. the run of PenguinPero is without Hobslides)
Interesting; seems like it. I'm not responsible for the NTSC part of the board but rather the PAL one so I'm not too knowledgable on this but maybe @robthegamer115 can help out here in a more reliable way.
Edit: as I don't want to have this request sit around for too long, I made the change. If Rob has any argument against this he may speak up whenever he's online again.
Depends, does it consistently give you the same questions after loading the save? Or are they still randomized?
This is a delicate one; on the one hand it is the fastest known time with video proof (and there are quite a handful of times faster on the vv ps4 board, although there seems to be no vid of those), on the other hand as far as I know there is no consistent way of replicating this. We'll leave it on the board for know which of course doesn't mean we could take it down whenever we decide to change our minds. Quote from Riko on this matter "We have no evidence that it was patched out and I doubt we ever will unless people learned how to do it."
It's still achieveable if the game gets rolled back to before the last patch was implemented - as we want the boards to be compatible with the latest patch, we banned the Nitro Clip for this TT.

Yes, so far only the Crash 1 and 2 boards are manually filled with the WRs, I'll have a go at the crash 3 ones later. I made that post prematurely to be fair, but I wanted to do it before I forget again
As of yesterday, "we have added Individual Level (IL) Leaderboards. The FPS thing has appeared to screw over the official Crash leaderboards, so for the sake of accuracy we have chosen to start up our own, as IL runs of NST have proven quite popular." (quoted Riko here). I looked through youtube and compared with the "official" VV leaderboards so the IL section should now have all top times which are proven by a video. If I missed anything in that regard, feel free to tell me.
