Still improving my 100% run before submit something that worth something. I've watched all tutos from Andy and Fruitbats (Several times) and many many other 100% runs.

I helped myself for the biggest part of tricks you have to perform to speedrun.

But for some I have to ask. I'm glad that this forum tread exists.

My first interrogation is about the "chest opening" (The way that Link face already downwards when opening the chest). Andy explains the tricks in his tutorial. But I don't have the "key" to get it all the time !

Does someone can explain how the trick work ? Thanks already

I've looked for an answer on others websites more specialised in Emulator's matter. But I diddn't find a good and right answer to my question...

I use BSNES. This emulators has 5 save states slots that you can assign to any hotkeys. That is the good part. But 5 isn't really enough at all !

Besides of these 5 ,there are also a "state manager" window which allows you to save 32 others save states. But unfortunately these 32 are not able to be set on any hotkeys. It's not the big deal to open a window with your mouse. BUT THE REAL BIG DEAL IS: these 32 slots aren't consistant at all. They erase themselves, they change their names, and when you close BSNES and you re-open it, I lose every of these 32 save states !!!! Moreover it's not possible to see them in the folder like the 5 real one (.bst)

Does someone has the same problem ? Is there anything to solve this ??

Hi everyone, Switzerland speaking, I've just created an account and I'd like to intriduce myself a bit.Promise I won't be boring. I'm 29. I grew up with games from early 90's. Especially SNES games. From then I've never stopped to play. But in 2009 I've started watching speedruns. First it was almost only TAS. Then I drifted to speedruns classics. About running, I tried speedruning Banjo&Tooie at first two years ago. It was a bit difficult to start :) After this fail, I've started Super Metroid (100%) and stayed with it for months. I think I'm not that bad. But this game ruined your fingers. Cause my second best SNES games was Zelda 3, and also because of an impressive run from Xelna at the SGDQ 2013 I've watched at least a thousand time. I wanted to try. After months I did today a score that could be in your list. That's why I eventually decide to sign in and join your community. If I'm accepted obviously. I don't really mind about my score which is far from the best but it gives me "legitimacy" to write you I hope. I diddn't wanted to sign in as a strict casual player. If someone would like to answer me, I've got a few question about:

1. streaming my runs...How , Software?
2. Upoading my runs in your website 3)Recording my runs... What is the best software ?
